Can I use "SmartDial" if my caller ID is blocked?
Yes, you can. If you are saving 'SmartDial' Number into your phone's memory you have to save it with *82 in front of it (*82 646 xxx yyyy). Caller ID of your phone will still be blocked if you are placing any other calls.
Does StanaCard pinless dialing work with all service providers?
Yes. If your phone service provider supports caller ID. Some internet phone service providers like Skype for example, do not provide its users with caller ID for outbound calls. In this case you would need to use your account's PIN number that we give to you as soon as you activate your account
How can I place an international call from my phone using StanaCard SmartDial?
Make sure you are calling from a phone registered with StanaCard. All you have to do is dial the local "SmartDial" number. You will be connected immediately.
How can I place an international call from my phone without using StanaCard SmartDial?
After you sign up, you can start making international calls from any of the registered on your account phone right away using StanaCard Access Numbers. Our system recognizes your phone and automatically provides you a dial tone. When the dial tone begins, dial 011 and the international number you wish to reach. Please make sure NOT TO press "SEND" key after dialing the international number (at this time you are already connected to StanaCard).
How do I know if my Caller ID is blocked?
If your phone number is not recognized by caller ID of the receiving phone it means that your number is blocked. In order for our system to identify your account, you have to unblock it. To unblock dial *82 before dialing a SmartDial or Access Number (*82 646 xxx yyyy). *82 will unblock caller ID of your telephone for placing this specific call.
I placed a call from my phone but the system is asking me for a PIN code.
First, check if the number you are calling from is registered with StanaCard. You can view the list of your registered numbers in the "Registered Phones" section of StanaCard Online Manager. If the number is registered, make sure that the Caller ID of this phone is not blocked.
Is it possible to place a call from a phone that is not registered on the account?
Yes. It is possible. Simply dial a SmartDial or Access Number and when the system asks you for a PIN code enter your 14 digits PIN that you can see in the lower left side of your account information page below your Registered Numbers.
Is there a PIN code that I need to dial when making a call through an Access Number from one of the registered on my account telephone numbers?
No. StanaCard recognizes your account by your registered phone's caller ID when you call the StanaCard Access Number.
Will I ever get a busy signal when I place a call using StanaCard?
No, you will not get a busy signal. We have an advanced digital switching system that will identify your phone and will automatically give you a dial tone. The only way you can get a busy signal if the line of your destination is busy and it doesn't have call waiting.
